Serial System was established in Singapore in 1988 as a distributor of electrical and electronic components. It was incorporated in April 1992 as a private limited entity and admitted to SESDAQ (Stock Exchange of Singapore Dealing and Automated Quotation System) in 1997. On July 2000, Serial System Ltd became a Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX) Mainboard listed company.
Serial System (the Group) has its humble beginnings in 1 200 sq ft office at Golden Mile Tower with just a phone, a PC, and a fax machine. In about 16 years, the Group has grown into a multi-million corporation and expanded well beyond the shores of Singapore with an established network of offices, operations and representations in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand.
Today, the group is a leading semiconductors/ components distributor in the Asia Pacific region, offering design support, materials planning, inventory management, programming, and assembly services. It is also a provider of technology solutions and services. |
